Hey there, fellow parrot people!
I’m Pedro, proud human to one sassy Congo African Grey named Luna — the real boss of my house. I’ve been completely obsessed with African Greys ever since I met one at a friend’s bird rescue about 6 years ago. A year later, Luna flew into my life and changed everything.
I started learning (the hard way
) that owning an African Grey isn’t just about having a talking bird" — it’s about understanding a little feathered genius with big emotions, strong opinions, and an even stronger beak. From food experiments to bite marks and mimicked phone calls, every day is an adventure.
From food experiments to bite marks and mimicked phone calls, every day is an adventure. I love sharing my experiences, funny moments, and lessons learned with other Grey parents. Whether it’s about diet, training, talking tricks, or the mysterious moods of these incredible birds, I’m always happy to chat and learn from others here.
When I’m not cleaning up shredded toy bits or dodging flying pellets, you’ll probably find me researching parrot care, working from home with Luna perched on my shoulder, or trying (and failing) to record her latest new word.
Looking forward to connecting with more Grey lovers here, we all know life is better with a little feathered chaos in it.
