Not sure what happened yesterday, Sheeba decided that my blood was a desired delicacy. Bit me numerous times and was basically as aggressive as I have ever seen her. I had changed my glasses to a different pair and I think that was what started it. But I put my old pair back on and she was still not pleased. I finally had to get her in the cage in the early evening, my hand was tired of being bloodied!
This morning she is back to her old self, has been very sweet and even has been extra careful when she uses her beak to get up on my hand. Almost like she's sorry for being a brat yesterday. But she is not going on my shoulder for a few days, she's lost that privilege.
Yes I think it was the new glasses and even though you put the old ones back on she was still annoyed about the new ones, plus an element of panic about the situation.
They can have an extended reaction to something - I once used a small step ladder to change a light bulb and Mitzi was growling at it all the time but she kept growling even after I had taken it out of the room again.
Somewhere in another universe, dear brother, you got saved.
They certainly have their moments, About 2 months ago I thought Sid had become a vampire he went for my neck with a vengeance every time my back was turned for about 2 weeks. Between hormones and hard molt he was not my best friend. Have to rethink the friendship temporality at those times. Glad they always come back. Sheeba was being a normal grey.
