My CAG is 15 he has never had any problems as far as health diet has always been the same minus the abundance of fruits and veggies. I wouldn’t expect anyone to like the same variety everyday so he gets options. He gets NO processed or junk foods. Ok maybe a unsalted potato chip( homemade) every onece in a long while. Well to get down to it he sleeps hard i mean like I can turn on a light and he can sleep right through it. Anyways 3 mornings ago getting ready for work I opened his bedroom door say good morning pelle. I uncover his cage he is fluffed up like normal head tucked in his back. He then goes in chicken hawk pose staring in bottom corner wings drawn back stiffens falls to bottom convulses for a few seconds then bam back to normal telling me good morning, I love you ,Apple etc. Is it possible he had a seizure due to being frightened? I wake up before the sun so it is still dark however this has be the norm for a few years. I have not seen another episode of this and he appears 100%. Attempted a vet visit it failed. I would explain but dang this is long enough. Thank you so much for time. P.S vet will be happening next week

Perhaps the vet will take a blood sample to test his blood calcium level. Low calcium is a common complaint with greys and can cause seizures. My own grey had low calcium which was caught during a routine checkup. It wasn't low enough to cause seizures and was fixed by upping calcium rich food in her diet.
Let's see what the vet says about his episode.
