When you create a blog it is important that you have the correct settings so that others can view it and also so that members can post comments.

If you want others to see your blog make sure the Private Blog box is left blank. If you want members to comment on your blog make sure the "Disable comments" box is left blank. Also, in the box that asks you: "Approve comments on your blog" make sure that is set to: "no approve". If you set it to "approve", comments won't show until you have approved them and a member trying to leave a comment will see a message saying: "Your comment will not show up until the blog owner has approved it".

When you create an album in the gallery and you want others to view it, you need to tick the "Public" box.

You can have the same user name and password if you want to but you have to treat each site as separate with regard to registration and log in.
